Position Title: Power Catamaran Broker

Location: Australia, preferably Mooloolaba (Sunshine Coast)

Overview:

Multihull Solutions is Australia and New Zealand’s premier offshore and cruising catamaran specialist, offering sales and servicing of the world’s finest multihull brands including Fountaine Pajot, Trawler, Catana, Sunreef Yachts and ArrowCat.

Based on strong forecast sales trends and strong historical growth, the company has recognised the need for a specialist Power Catamaran Sales Broker to join their friendly, professional, sales-driven team.

In charge of the sales of both new and pre-owned power models, ranging in size from 30-90+ ft, this unique position will suit a Sales Manager seeking a new challenge to take ownership and grow his own business within a strong support network. Use your own initiative to set marketing strategies, plan boat shows and generate strong returns in a market shifting to multihulls. Immediate portfolio of new and used boats and a qualified database represent a strong foundation for you to build upon.

Duties/responsibilities:

• Grow the division and achieve sales targets
• Manage your own business within a business
• Manage and develop the customer database
• Manage and plan boat shows
• Control and negotiate contracts
• Use the MHS internal resources to maximise earnings

Skills required:

• Passion for and experience in boating – power focused
• A proven track record in sales (not limited to marine industry)
• Ability to communicate through email, telephone, direct customer contact
• Self starter – able to work autonomously with minimal hands-on management
• Own reliable car and full drivers license
• Qualified prospect database is desirable

Personal attributes:

• Well organized and well presented
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative as well as part of a small team.
• Excellent communication and proven sales skills
• Current eligibility to work in Australia

Position: Full time

Reporting To: Sales Manager

Salary: Commission based with opportunity to earn $200K plus per annum
