Satori Two is an Australian flagged yacht that has sailed the Pacific in comfort and safety for the one owner. Being a Grainger design, it has similar attributes to award winning designs and production boats like the Perry 43.
Accommodation is spacious and comfortable with four cabins; two queen sized beds, two singles and one converted to a workshop. There is full stand up room in the saloon and bathrooms and a shower separated from the toilet and vanity plus a second toilet ensuited, and with hand basin, to the other large double cabin.
The galley is comprehensively fitted out and includes a 500 litre front opening fridge plus a 250 litre freezer, double stainless sinks, Broadwater stove and oven plus ample storage. The galley affords line of sight communication with the helm and is well lit with large full length windows and is secure in a heavy sea.
The large saloon comfortably seats 8 adults but most time the owners spend in the fully covered cockpit area easily accessible from the rest of the boat. After your morning swim, easily climb aboard the low stepped transom / duckboard. The high set helm area features a handy hatch for easy berthing and manoeuvres. The instruments, chart plotter and autohelm controls are at the helm station.
The 2011 Polycraft dinghy has a near new Yamaha outboard to get you ashore safely. Plenty of battery power is constantly charged by solar and or wind making liveaboard life quiet and inexpensive.
Power is supplied through twin Volvo Penta 50 HP engines with only 2,500 hours of use and top of the line feathering stainless steel propellers. The new sails include main with lazyjacks and zip up boom bag and headsail on furler plus geniker, storm jib and spare geniker.
The professionally built hulls are both strong and lightweight. The epoxy resined fiberglass construction is cored with cedar planking in the hull, balsa in the deck and airex in the fitout. Located in SE Queensland, this vessel will suit long range cruisers or liveaboards.
