Multihull Solutions set to dazzle with exclusive launchings at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show - Lucia 40Multihull Solutions is expecting record interest at its 2016 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show display when it unveils two exclusive new catamaran models.

The company will use the boat show from 19-22 May to host the Southern Hemisphere launch of the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 sailing catamaran and the Queensland launch of the new MY37 power catamaran by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts.  The remarkable TAG 60 XR will also be on display.

The Lucia 40 has already become one of Fountaine Pajot’s most successful models, having sold more than 50 units since its international launch in mid 2015.

In rugged sea trials, the Lucia 40 has demonstrated its outstanding handling, stability and comfort, and its sleek lines and stylish interior design have captured the imagination of cruising enthusiasts around the world. The catamaran offers superb luminosity and panoramic views throughout its interior, and a spacious cockpit that comfortably accommodates eight people at its dining table. There is a generous choice of exterior relaxation areas and is available in two versions to appeal to both private and commercial clients.

The new MY37 power catamaran has also been making waves, revolutionising the entry-level segment of the world’s power catamaran market with its impressive features, performance and value for money.  The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show - MY37catamaran delivers unparalleled performance and fuel economy, and in eco-cruising mode can cover an impressive 1200nm at 7.5 knots. The MY37 is designed to optimise entertaining and relaxation, with a capacious 13.5m2 cockpit and 12m2 flybridge that provide a superb retreat for both guests and crew.

The interior of the MY37 has been designed to the highest standards with exceptional natural light through 360-degree panoramic windows, 2.1m headroom and ambient LED lighting. The saloon is available in two versions including the option for a second wheelhouse or sofa, and has an unprecedented amount of storage space for extended passage making.

Its wide hulls and high bridge deck clearance delivers outstanding stability and exceptional performance in challenging conditions, making the MY37 arguably the leading power catamaran of its size in the world market. Unlike most power catamarans of its size, the MY37 is available in a three and a four-cabin layout making it ideal for both personal cruising use and commercial charter companies.

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show - TAG 60Multihull Solutions will also be showcasing the high-performance TAG 60 XR at the boat show and anticipates strong interest in this catamaran, which can be handled comfortably by a crew of just two people yet offers excellent capability on all points of sail as well as an unprecedented level of comfort, luxury and innovation.

In light airs of 6-15 knots of true wind, the TAG 60 XR equals the wind speed and regularly exceeds it by up to 20 per cent. TAG Yachts state the catamaran, which is available in two versions, is capable of achieving 300-mile voyages per day.
