Lazy Bones – 2000 53ft Custom Alloy Long Range Power Cat
Extensively cruised from Indonesia to the Kimberleys and Top End, Lazy Bones is a proven and capable long-range cruising catamaran. A great liveaboard and expedition vessel, she will take you anywhere in absolute comfort and safety.
Built by Supercraft in Fremantle, Western Australia, in 2000 and designed by Dave Jackson, Lazy Bones is constructed of quality marine-grade aluminium. Powered by 2007 twin 230hp Yanmar 4LHA STP diesels with a top speed of around 12 knots, she cruises comfortably at 8 knots and, with 6400 litres of fuel, will take you to far horizons.
Her flexible accommodation comprises three cabins with two double beds and three singles. Lazy Bones’ generous refrigeration and freezer will keep you stocked for extended trips, and her galley is fitted with stone benchtops and a new 3-burner cooktop and microwave.
Upgraded electronics complement the full suite of gear on this boat, which also features two gensets, a watermaker, big solar capacity, washing machine and electric platform at the stern for the tender.
Lazy Bones is truly a well maintained liveaboard cruiser. Lying in Darwin, Northern Territory, she is ready now to take you anywhere you want to go!
