Scimitar 1010 – Ateze

Ateze is a superb example of Peter Brady’s popular bullet proof design Scimitar 1010, and is well set up for cruising with a fully enclosable hard-top flybridge featuring new clears and a canopy extending over the aft cockpit.

Her twin Yanmar 125hp engines were replaced in 2014 and boast a low 400 hours on each, and they have been well maintained and serviced regularly. Ateze delivers an 18- 20 knot top speed, with a comfortable and economical 15 knot cruise and 650lts of diesel capacity to take you far.

The spacious interior is a huge feature of this Scimitar 1010, with an enhanced timber fit out and masses of storage, tastefully upholstered lounge/dining and well fitted-out galley with huge fridge/ freezer storage plus additional fridge freezer in the cockpit. Quality mesh around the saloon windows keeps the boat cool and looking good.

Accommodation is in two roomy double cabins with two singles either side, plus room for two more on the lounge when required. There is also a U-shaped dinette seating for six opposite the L-shaped galley to port.

Ateze has masses of seating on the flybridge and a huge lounge area on the foredeck and cockpit. The owner has installed a stainless rail on the flybridge with ‘rocket launchers’ for the fishing enthusiasts, great bait board/ BBQ bench and full-length duck board at the stern.

The catamaran has completed out-of-water checks and antifoul in November 2021 and she is now ready for the summer season.
