Built in Opua, NZ, for the current owner, to a hull design specifically developed for aluminium construction, Garfield is a vessel to be justly proud of. The vessel has a work boat finish with a strong, utilitarian approach to boating. Intended for offshore adventures in a sea kindly manner, Garfield has ample bridge deck clearance, non-skid flooring and sturdy handrails.
Stairs lead up to the expansive fly bridge enjoying comfort, outlook and a wonderful helm station plus a deck crane to launch the tender, while the aft cockpit is a great entertaining space with BBQ, dining, easy access to the galley as well as a perfect fishing/swimming platform.
Inside the saloon/galley combine to provide huge space, all round views, galley work surfaces and appliances equal to the best kitchens, plus comfortable dining for six. This area also houses the internal helm station.
Below starboard is the forward owner’s queen cabin fitted with stylish storage, and moving aft a private bathroom and beyond to laundry with watermaker. Across in the port hull is a guest queen forward which can be divided into two singles, a bathroom midships and aft another queen cabin for guests.
Everything considered this is one of the best all round vessels – robust, stylish, functional, new and capable of going round to the next bay or across the ocean to the next country. Intended for owners who wanted to travel with ease and comfort, Garfield will be ideal for a family or several couples who are looking to share ownership.
