1991 Pro Kennex Legendary 445 | Ishka
Ishka represents a great opportunity to transform a 1991 Pro Kennex Legendary 445 back to her former glory.
The four-cabin, two-head catamaran does not require too much work to be ready to sail away, with mainly cosmetic work needed. Her mechanical systems and sails are in good condition, and she features a solid construction with GRP to waterline, is carbon-fibre reinforced and has infused Vinylester/ Airex Core hulls and deck.
Ishka boasts a plush saloon and large well-appointed galley, great storage, four queen-sized cabins and a separate head and shower on each side. This cat is ahead of its time in design and will provide her new owner with many more years of ocean cruising or liveaboard comfort.
Her current owner purchased two new Yanmar 40hp diesels (only around 400 hrs) and saildrives in 2011. She also comes with low usage sails, a 5kva Genset, wind generator, working instruments, a watermaker, and a Pollycraft Tuff tender and 10hp Tohatsu outboard on davits.
Designed by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot-Provost (of Lagoon Catamarans fame) and built in France, the Pro Kennex was the early predecessor to the Nautitech catamaran.
Ishka is lying in Mooloolaba Marina on the Sunshine Coast and certainly features good bones and some good equipment, a functional roomy layout, solid bimini over the cockpit and great storage.
Ishka is being offered “as is where is and is an excellent opportunity to capitalise as she is priced to sell and is a worthy project.
