Doghouse is a 1999 Sportsdeck 30 sailing catamaran designed by the renowned Malcom Tennant and built on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The open bridgedeck four-cabin catamaran represents a great opportunity to purchase a very well cared for catamaran from this reputable local yard.

Fitted with a near-new 20 Hp Tohatsu outboard and really simple sailing systems, there is very little to maintain. Designed for simplicity itself, there are few models built with two double beds and one toilet, and with two single berths in each bow.

The bridgedeck area is protected by a hardcover, and easy forward access to the trampolines means safe circulation around the catamaran.

Doghouse has a good sail inventory with a self-tacking Pro Radial Furler, spinnaker, and 54sqm of upwind sails on a 2.5 tonne cat translates to wind speed plus cruising speeds and more when off the wind with the spinnaker up.

Her current owner has thoroughly enjoyed cruising on Doghouse but has decided now is the time to move on to a bigger catamaran.

She is ideal for light adventure charters around the Broadwater or up around Moreton Island to Tangalooma and can just as easily tackle offshore trips up the coast. This ensures a new owner can cruise further afield, enjoying this light, small-footprint cat anywhere in the world.
