2002 SCHIONNING WATERLINE 1320 | Forza
Forza is the perfectly balanced performance cruising catamaran set up for short-handed sailing in comfort with the renowned Schionning design delivering effortless passage making.
Built in 2002, this catamaran was constructed by well-known Schionning builders Ross & Deb McCombe with professional fit out and finishing. Her current owners have continued to upgrade and maintain the catamaran over the past five years, which shows in her meticulous presentation.
Forza’s hull material is ‘Duflex/Duracore’ composite, bonded with fibreglass and epoxy resin. In addition to the design requirements, Kevlar mat was laid up on the inside of the lower hulls to provide extra strength.
Yanmar 30hp diesel engines with sail drives and Kiwi feathering 3-blade props were installed in 2005. The centrally located helm position provides excellent views to all corners of the boat and connects to the saloon through large opening windows.
Forza features three cabins, including two central doubles and one single aft cabin, and a generous saloon with 1900mm head height throughout, making her light-filled, well-ventilated and ideal for the cruising couple or family.
Topping the package off is the sleek carbon-fibre rig by Fibrespar with 2016 rigging and heavy cruising Dacron sails.
