2007 Schionning Wilderness 1120 | Peppermint
This 2007 Schionning Wilderness 1120 is the ideal catamaran for coastal sailing or entertaining on Sydney Harbour. Built by McKenzie Boating / Bob Beel from composite fibreglass, she was resprayed in 2015 in a polyurethane.
Fitted with dagger boards, Peppermint boasts a draft of less than a metre, yet with the daggerboards down, her sailing performance is exceptional. The boat easily cruises at 12 knots and has an easily managed sail plan with all controls leading back to the cockpit.
Her interior is spacious and practical with two queen beds, an aft double cabin and two forward singles. Offering more space than her length suggests, she is one of Schionning’s most popular designs.
Great sailing performance paired with simple systems make Peppermint an easy catamaran to sail, whether it is for family cruises up the east coast or participating in the occasional regatta.
Peppermint will comfortably sleep 4-6 guests, and she is also comprehensively fitted to be used as a live aboard.
With many recent upgrades and additions, Peppermint is a must-inspect.
