2009 Grainger 40 | Aroha

The three-cabin catamaran offers excellent protection from the elements courtesy of her cockpit’s extended hardtop.

Aroha has low engine hours due to a long lay up, and with much of her electronics only two years old, she is ready to go cruising again today.

1400 watts of solar power keeps her ample batteries topped up and there is a Honda generator for emergency use. A two-year-old tender will get you ashore safe and dry and, with a legendary Yamaha 2-stroke 15, you can explore remote beaches and anchorages to your heart is content. It also includes a full cover for when not in use.

The main and jib sails till have plenty of life in them, and an as-new screecher (2022) gives her a great turn of speed.
