Star Trek, a popular Owner’s version of the Seawind 1160 sailing catamaran, is now for sale in Thailand and, with a bit of work, ready to embark on new adventures around these majestic islands and further afield.

Seawind catamarans have won many awards for their designs over the years, and this Australian-built model will give you many nautical miles of enjoyment for years to come. These catamarans are renowned for great sailing in the tropics with two huge forward-facing windows that open on hydraulic rams as well as a swing-up triple door between the saloon and aft cockpit, ensuring superb ventilation and excellent open spaces for entertaining.

Sailing comfort and speed is enhanced with a deployable prodder giving you an extended choice of downwind sails and translate into great light wind sailing. Further, StarTrek has an extra-large genoa which you can use in place of the self-tacking jib for better low-wind performance.

The owner’s cabin has a dedicated port hull with generous bathroom, larger than most of a cat this size.
