2010 Simpson Inspiration 11 | Aristocat
Aristocat is an excellent example of the very popular Roger Simpson-designed ‘Inspiration’ series of catamarans.
At just over 10 years old, Aristocat will continue to serve as an outstanding liveaboard and coastal cruiser requiring only a little time setting her up to suit your needs.
Her original owner used her for occasional wet charters but current owner has mainly enjoyed cruising her privately over recent years.
Built by Glens Marine in southeast Queensland with a teak fitout by David Drury, she is very easy to maintain with moulded interior linings giving the boat a modern, clean aesthetic.
This model has a range of excellent features, including an uncluttered open foredeck arrangement and huge refrigeration with a 100L built-in cockpit freezer and a 120L fridge/50L freezer in the galley. Her galley down to port features a servery to the saloon, 3-burner stove and oven, and a generous sink.
The expansive saloon table converts to a huge day bed for lazy lounging at sea, while there are two queen-sized forward cabins and two aft double cabins.
Aristocat is powered by 30hp Yanmar 3YM30 saildrives pushing her along at up to 8 knots and cruising at an economical 6 knots.
The catamaran has recently had an antifoul, prop speed and rigging report and is priced extremely well in this market making her most definitely worth your attention. She has recently sailed down from the Whitsundays and is available for inspection now at Mooloolaba Marina on the Sunshine Coast.
