Shaman is a professionally maintained, custom expedition-style 2012 Oceanic 52. This aluminium three-cabin Owner’s version is similar to a larger Mumby sailing cat.
Completed in 2012 but built as a bare shell in 2007, Shaman was motored around from The Gulf of Thailand then dry stored for several years.
The interior fitout took around five years to complete before she was finally launched. She now boasts a very clean interior fit out with mast and rigging sails from 2012.
Shaman presents very well with a typical Owner’s configuration of three cabins with two king-sized berths, a double, and the port-side owner’s king suite with large walk-in robe.
She has a large bridgedeck saloon, navigation / work station, and external head and shower. The starboard hull incorporates two more cabins, one with a king-size bed, and there is huge storage between the cabin to tackle a year-long expedition.
A family choice to move on has meant this well-built catamaran with two low-hour Yanmar diesels is now ready for you to enjoy.
With a two-pac internal and external paint finish and extensive deck storage, Shaman looks like she came out of the builder’s yard yesterday!
Built from pre-cut Australian marine-grade aluminium to exacting Lloyds specs, Shaman will outsail any of the catominiums currently on the market and is far easier to maintain with her simpler systems and superb access.
Two huge empty bow spaces can be converted to ensuites or cabins for crew etc, or kept as storage for surfboards, SUPs or what-have-you.
With plenty of storage further aft in the hulls and bridgedeck, she is ready for any long-term cruising. Shaman comes complete with a 120 l/hr watermaker and plenty of solar to keep power demands at bay.
So far, four of these great cats have been built, with her three sister ships in the charter market also doing well, proving this design has a strong track record of reliability.
Currently dry stored until she becomes yours, Shaman is ready for anything and even has her own sailing dinghy stored on board.
Shaman is available to view and is located just 30 minutes drive from Phuket International airport in Thailand.
