Java is a well maintained and upgraded 2013 Stealth 11.8m fast cruising catamaran.
More than ever, these rapid Stealth cats are spreading around the world as fast as they sail. Families are enjoying cruising in a quick and efficient manner, and when a local regatta beckons you can be sure be on the podium. Super competitive with an excellent OMR rating, Java has finished either first or second in every SE Asia regatta she has competed since her launch.
Built with foam epoxy composite with carbon in the right places, she features a large open-plan living area with great ventilation and airy cabins to make the most of tropical sailing.
Sporting twin helm stations and amazingly functional sailing systems, Java is a joy to sail – responsive to the slightest pressure and capable of continuing her winning ways with a new owner.
In 2017 she was upgraded with a full carbon McConaghy rotating with new racing sails as well, including light and heavy wind spinnakers, along with the Doyle GPL Carbons for cruising.
With two double cabins, each containing another single berth and an optional head to port, Java also features a proper galley, electric toilets, great cold storage and enough solar panels to keep the power up.
Carbon davits for the tender and a very easy-to-stack mainsail with furling headsail make her a comprehensively set-up boat to go cruising. Two Honda 4-stroke 20hp outboards easily push her along at 9-10 knots.
Currently lying in Thailand, Java is readily accessible to enjoy the region’s best cruising grounds or to compete in the upcoming Samui Regatta, Multihull Solutions Phuket Regatta and Phuket Race Week if racing is your passion.
