The lucky participants of this years Multihull Solutions Sail 2 Indonesia Rally have left Cairns on their way to cruise Indonesia over an epic five month voyage.
Multihull Solutions were there to celebrate with the fleet at the Welcome Party in Cairns – a Jimmy Buffet Parrot Head Party of course! Drinks and live entertainment by the Barbary Coasters was enjoyed on Saturday night at the Cairns Cruising Yacht Squadron. In the days leading up to this finale the fleet had the rally orientation where they received their rally goodies packs, a cocktail party meet and greet hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, technical briefings, area briefings and more, all in preparation for the journey ahead.
Next stop for the fleet is Thursday Island in the Torres Strait and onto Debut in Indonesia for clearance – then the fun really begins!
