Multihull Solutions will stage the exclusive New Zealand launch of an award-winning power catamaran at the 2014 Auckland On-Water Boat Show from 25-28 September.
Visitors to the show will be able to inspect the new Summerland 40 Long Range by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts which won ‘Boat of the Year’ at the prestigious 2014 Moteur Boat Awards.
Multihull Solutions will also showcase the popular Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 sailing catamaran at the show.
The Summerland 40 LR won the ‘Boat of the Year’ title against a strong field of finalists in the ‘Liveable Boats’ category which comprised motor yachts ranging from 29 to 45 feet.
The Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts catamaran impressed the judges with its exceptional interior space, outstanding stability, and its performance in the choppy judging conditions. It also was praised for its remarkable accommodation, particularly its three designer double cabins and its decadent owner’s cabin that boasts a panoramic sea view.
The judges also commended the catamaran’s sleek and contemporary interior design, autonomy, responsiveness, and excellent fuel consumption that uses 40 per cent less than monohulls of comparable size.
Conrad, Nod, Patrick and Vanessa will be on the Multihull Solutions boat show stand to provide information on the company’s full range as well as show visitors through the catamarans on display.
The Auckland On Water Boat Show is New Zealand’s largest on-water boat show and is held at the magnificent Viaduct Harbour.
