Fountaine Pajot has announced a repositioning of its Trawler brand with its range of power catamarans now presented under the banner of Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts.
Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts CEO Jean-François Fountaine said the rebranding decision was made to ensure the catamarans were more accurately presented to the industry.
“Our power catamarans are true yachts, renowned for their comfort, performance and low fuel consumption,” Mr Fountaine said.
“The new branding better reflects the incomparable construction, speed and sleek design of our range, as well as our desire to develop the major motor sector while continuing our strong activity with the Fountaine Pajot sailing catamarans line,” he said.
The Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts range currently comprises the Summerland 40, Cumberland 47 Long Range and the Queensland 55.
The 2013 model of the popular Summerland 40 has undergone a stunning interior overhaul. The fuel-efficient power catamaran has a host of new features including a newly designed saloon that provides 360-degree visibility through panoramic windows. There is also additional storage space incorporated into the latest Summerland 40 catamarans and improved integration of the galley and cockpit areas.
All of the cabins have been upgraded with premium quality finishes and fixtures, and the flybridge has been revised to optimise spaciousness.
The Summerland 40 has been one of Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts’s most successful power catamaran models, and its popularity is attributed to the boat’s exceptional offshore ability, autonomous controls, state of the art design and low fuel consumption (40 per cent less than comparable catamarans in the market).
The remarkable new Cumberland 47 Long Range power catamaran has just been launched in France, replacing the successful Cumberland 46 and joining the company’s prestigious Flagship range.
Incorporating a range of design innovations, the Cumberland 47 Long Range has an elongated, streamlined hull and larger tanks to afford outstanding offshore performance and very low fuel consumption. Fountaine Pajot has further improved insulation with the Cumberland 47 Long Range to provide a quieter cruising experience.
A revolutionised design enhances comfort and ergonomics with new features including a dual helm seat and adjacent guest seating, a spacious lounge, and a state-of-the-art galley. The generous cabins have larger windows that provide expansive views and natural light.
The luxurious Queensland 55 is the jewel in the crown of the company’s Flagship range. The remarkable power catamaran is a veritable cruising apartment with an immense saloon combining lounge, dining room, galley and navigation room. The outside living areas heighten the feeling of space with a huge fly-bridge that features an outdoor galley, saloon, sundeck and steering station.
