Two superb new launchings and four days of spectacular weather combined to make the 2016 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show one of the most successful for Multihull Solutions.
The company enjoyed strong sales at the show with several more sales expected to be finalised before the end of May.
The Multihull Solutions stand was continually overflowing with genuine buyers who were seeking information on power and sail catamarans from the entry-level market right through to superyacht level.
Fountaine Pajot’s Lucia 40 sailing catamaran received a huge amount of interest at the show, with many visitors making the trip to the event to specifically inspect this outstanding multihull. There was also greater interest in power catamarans at the 2016 show than in previous years, with Fountaine Pajot’s MY37 enjoying an endless flow of inspections. The TAG 60 XR also generated great interest with its head-turning silhouette and stunning performance on the water.
Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show again lived up to its expectations as the premier marine industry event in the southern hemisphere.
“We were extremely pleased with the quality of visitors at this year’s show and recorded our highest rate of genuine buyer enquiries, which is a reflection of the professionalism and range of the show’s organisers,” Mark said.
“Four glorious days of sunshine helped make it one of the most enjoyable events we have participated in,” he said.
“We’re now busy responding to the huge number of queries we received at the show, and are thrilled to see that the shift toward multihulls shows no signs of slowing.”
