Held out of the Ao Chalong Yacht Club, the Multihull Solutions Regatta Phuket 2014 took place from the 10th to the 13th of July.
Blustery southwest winds gave the sailors plenty to do and the social gatherings ashore left the 19 crews with pleasant memories. Australians made up a good 90% of the crews, charterers, designers and builders.
Leading the numbers stakes were Mark Pescott designs with six Fireflies competing in their design class and a Summerhaven competing in the Open Class.
Following these were the Stealth Catamarans, designed by Alan Carwardine with three entered in Racing Multihulls. Also in contention was Nina, an Andaman Cabriolet built by Composite Catamarans Phuket.
