New Sponsor of ACYC Regatta by Phuket Gazette, Thailand.
Following its recent expansion into the Southeast Asian region with the establishment of a Phuket office based in the Phuket Boat Lagoon, the Australian based yacht broker Multihull Solutions has taken on major sponsorship and naming rights of the annual regatta organized by the Ao Chalong Yacht Club.
As a result, this year’s regatta is now officially known as “The Multihull Solutions Regatta – Phuket 2014. The Gazette spoke to Multihull Solutions Asia General Manager, Andrew de Bruin, along with Regatta Commodore Michael Kealy, to see how the sponsorship came about and learn what’s in store for this year’s regatta. “I’ve been a member of the ACYC for 12 years, as well as being on the committee for several years, and I have watched this regatta grow since its inception to the successful event it is today,” said Mr de Bruin.
