NEEL Trimarans continues to consolidate its reputation at the vanguard of marine industry innovation with several recent developments.
The French company has successfully launched its Custom-Line service, enabling clients to radically tailor their trimaran’s interior to suit their individual needs. Two fully customised NEEL 45 trimarans have recently been completed under this new scheme, including a Japanese client who received an entirely customised galley according to his specific requirements, and a German couple who requested significant modifications to the standard layout to result in their boat featuring one capacious Owner suite and designer bathroom.
The company has also launched the brand new NEEL 65 trimaran, which succeeds the NEEL 60. The astonishing trimaran has a revitalised design with a host of upgrades including direct float access from the saloon, expansive tender garage in the main hull transom, island beds in the main hull and deck suite cabins, one double cabin per float with ensuite, increased layout options that accommodate up to eight cabins, and improved leisure craft storage facilities.
The expansive flybridge offers 33m2 of space for relaxing and entertaining, and its table that seats ten guests can convert into a wide sunbathing area. The central helm integrates all manoeuvring operations to enhance ergonomics and safety about deck. The trimaran’s cockpit is the quintessential alfresco entertaining area with its outdoor kitchen, dining table for ten guests, and relaxation zone with two large sun decks and a swimming platform.
The NEEL 65 has a ‘sporty chic’ contemporary interior design, and the living space has been thoughtfully considered to maximise views and practicality of life on board. The crew area is a completely independent precinct and features its own private bathroom, optimising guest privacy and comfort. The owner’s suite boasts breathtaking horizon views from the bed through an astonishing 2.5m wide bay window, filling the cabin with natural light and enhancing the feeling of space.
The first NEEL 65 hull has already been sold to a client who intends to use the boat for private and crewed charter in Europe.
In response to the company’s growing success, NEEL Trimarans has also relocated its manufacturing facilities to new premises in La Rochelle in France near the historic port. NEEL now operates its assembly and finishing plant activities from the region’s “plateau nautique” precinct, which has become a state-of-the-art marine industry hub. NEEL joins thirty world-leading marine companies in the exclusive precinct and its premises boasts spectacular architecture, stunning showroom and access to large-craft travel-lift facilities.
NEEL continues to scoop international awards, most recently winning the Best Cruising Multihull in the 41-50 foot range for the prestigious Sail magazine 2013 Best Boat Awards.
