Fountaine Pajot, the world leaders in cruising catamaran technology and design, have again set the benchmark through a $2.5 M investment in an all new blue water sailing catamaran, “The Helia 44”.
Meaning ‘ray of sunshine’, The Helia 44 is the result of a strong collaboration between the Fountaine Pajot team and the Berret Racoupeau architects office. This outstanding catamaran is now under construction at the company’s manufacturing facilities in France, bringing together many completely new design features from the companies 30+ years in the catamaran industry.
The Helia 44 will be the 19th model released from the Fountaine Pajot yard and is set to be the most exciting blue water cruising catamaran of her size on the world market today.
Patrick Gilot and Richard Kilburn from Multihull Solutions will be at the Fountaine Pajot boat yard in France between 27-30 June for the International dealer conference and to receive a full briefing on this magnificent new catamaran. The Helia 44 will be launched on 20 July 2012 in La Rochelle for her initial sea trials and will be on its first public display during the Cannes International Boat Show between 11-16 September 2012.
