Privilege Marine has announced that construction has begun on its brand new power catamaran model, the Euphoria 5.
The 50-foot catamaran is the evolution of the leading shipyard’s Euphoria range, which previously included the highly successful Euphoria 40 and Euphoria 44.
Inspired by the aesthetics of the stunning Privilege Serie 5 sailing catamaran, the Euphoria 5 has been designed to emphasise the shipyard’s hallmark features of quality, strength, comfort and reliability, while also delivering outstanding performance at sea.
Powered by two 180 HP engines, the Euphoria 5 will afford a comfortable 12 knot cruising speed with impressive fuel efficiency.
Designed by renowned naval architect Marc Lombard, the catamaran’s modern design features sharp and refined lines with hulls calculated for optimal performance and an expansive hardtop flybridge providing optimal vision and entertaining while cruising.
Privilege Marine continues to be one of the world’s finest multihull builders, and has launched over 600 sail and power catamarans since the company’s inception in 1985. Based at Les Sables d’Olonne in France, the shipyard comprises a highly qualified team, individual certification by Bureau Veritas, true customisation of interiors, and a commitment to continually updating technology to deliver the highest quality of product.
The first Euphoria 5 will be launched in Europe in late 2016.
