Multihull Solutions has reported excellent results from the 2015 Singapore Yacht Show with sales to Asia Pacific buyers exceeding AUD$3m.
The company, which has recently expanded its operations into southeast Asia sold a Flagship Victoria 67 and a Helia 44 by Fountaine Pajot.

The sales are an exciting sign of the successful future for Fountaine Pajot in the region with the French shipyard’s range of power and sailing catamarans ideally suited to the area’s idyllic cruising grounds.
The superb Victoria 67 was purchased by a South African client who owns a range of resorts in China and intends to enjoy the catamaran for private use and occasional day trips for guests. The buyer recognised the long range cruising appeal of the Victoria 67 and has plans to explore the coastline of New Zealand in the future.
Multihull Solutions sold the Helia 44 to another South African buyer who had conducted extensive research into cruising catamarans including Lagoon and Leopard before settling on the unparalleled features of the Fountaine Pajot model.
He plans to base the stylish catamaran in Phuket in Thailand from where he will cruise the myriad bays and islands of Asia Pacific.
Multihull Solutions Asia general manager Andrew de Bruin said the company’s success at Singapore Yacht Show was immensely satisfying.
“The show was a wonderful validation of our decision to expand into the region,” Andrew said. “Not only did we confirm these two orders, but we were run off our feet talking to qualified buyers who expressed their intentions to order one of our sail or power catamarans in the near future,” he said.
“It is certainly an exciting time for the company and we are thrilled to see multihulls continue to soar in popularity.”
