The Multihull Solutions team is still trying to draw breath after an extremely successful 2016 Sydney International Boat Show.
The company secured seven orders on new Fountaine Pajot power and sail catamarans at the show and has since been inundated with enquiries from clients planning to purchase in coming weeks.
Orders received from the show include four Lucia 40 sailing catamarans, a Helia 44 Evolution and New 47, as well as an MY 37 power catamaran.
Four of the ordered catamarans have been purchased for private use, while three will be placed in charter in the Whitsundays and on Sydney Harbour.
Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said this year’s show was a spectacular success for the company.
“We were thrilled by the magnificent turnout at the event with genuine multihull buyers on our stand from the moment the show opened until after it closed every day,” Mark said.
“The demand for our catamarans has never been so high, and it is exciting to see how many cruising enthusiasts now recognise the myriad benefits that multihulls have over monohulls,” he said.
“Fountaine Pajot continues to hit the mark with their new models, and the immediate worldwide success of their current power and sail range is a reflection of the catamarans’ outstanding design, performance and value for money. Numerous buyers also told us that our quality of finish was a big step above our competition.”
