Jeremy McGeary reviews this new flagship catamaran for the CW 2009 Sailboat Show By Jeremy McGeary In its new flagship, Broadblue Catamarans expands the design concepts of the Broadblue 415, employing the “cab forward” styling that extends the saloon forward and also adds space to the cockpit area. The galley is aft in the saloon, on the port side , diagonally opposite the expansive dining area, an arrangement that permits a couple of bucket chairs and a coffee table in cozy proximity to a nav desk that commands a view forward. The layouts in the hulls are subject to some owner-selected choices, principal among them the option to dedicate the entire starboard hull to an owner’s stateroom that boasts a desk, a couch, and a dressing table.
