One of the most significant trends on the international boating scene is the rapid acceptance – and evolution – of the modern planing powered catamaran. For the French Fountaine Pajot team theirs is no overnight success – they have building cats for many years, often just about the only cat builder in Europe, and easily one of the most experienced. It’s great to see them stepping forward with an excellent range of craft, now readily available – and properly backed – in Australia.
Fountaine Pajot has just announced a brand new 44-foot power cat that sets entirely new standards in the world blue-water cruising cat
market.
Created by internationally renowned naval architects and designers Daniel Andreiu and Pierangelo Andreani, the new MY44 features an incredible design, abundance of space and extraordinary fuel efficiency.
With the first unit launched in early 2017, the MY44 promises to be the shipyard’s most successful power catamaran.
The MY44 has an unprecedented amount of living space, including a 20m2 saloon, 12m2 flybridge, and a decadent 15m2 master suite.
The model has been fitted with sleek panoramic windows throughout the catamaran, granting spectacular 360-degree views and beautiful levels of natural light.
