Sunreef 70 Power – Cote d’Azur Cat

By Ocean Magazine In its relatively short existence, Sunreef Yachts has carved out a solid reputation for producing quality sailing catamarans, with  over 40 now delivered and sailing in a variety of locations around the globe. Since receiving a commission by world-renowned  Swiss sailor, Laurent Bourgnon, the yard has also moved into producing luxury power catamarans. Bourgnon’s requirement was  for a vessel suitable to take his young family on an around-the-world odyssey, so the specification was for a practical and  economical boat specifically modified to handle long distance, transoceanic crossings. Sunreef worked closely with Bourgnon to  develop JAMBO, a yacht capable of an incredible 20,000-nauticalmile range at a steady cruising speed of eight knots.
