Multihull Solutions’ innovated Seller Assistance Service has been launched to support you with selling your vessel, even if you do not wish to use our comprehensive brokerage marketing and sales package.

Selling a boat on your own can be tricky, with an ocean of important paperwork that must be obtained, completed and submitted for an efficient and legal sale to be completed.

We are experts in knowing what is required for you to sell your boat with our team completing an average of two settlements per week for our clients.  Our Seller Assistance Service can be a lifeline for you when you have decided to privately list your boat for sale; from ensuring all paperwork is ready to go for transfer of ownership, delivering peace of mind on the financial transactions for both parties, and giving professional advice on the overall process, our new Service can make your sale a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Included in our Seler Assistance Service:

  • All paperwork is checked prior to the sale to ensure everything is ready for transfer of ownership, registration etc;
  • We conduct a PPSR (Personal Property Securities Register) check on the boat to ensure there is no registered encumbrances;
  • Supply of standard legal contracts endorsed by the relevant official Brokerage Association;
  • Official escrow account to keep the deposit and settlement funds in a safe, third-party location;
  • General advice, including a list of local surveyors / haul-out facilities for the Buyer to choose from;
  • Insurance advice and assistance obtaining various quotes to suit Buyer’s usage;
  • Official acceptance of the boat following survey;
  • Official invoicing and receipt of the funds to reassure the Buyer;
  • Settlement reconciliation for the Seller confirming the funds to receive and relevant account details;
  • Preparation of the correct Bill of Sale relevant to the flag desired;
  • Collection and distribution of the relevant paperwork necessary for the registration;
  • Timely transfer of funds and title conducted by a third party (Broker) on the day of settlement;
  • Access to a comprehensive knowledge base of services and suppliers.
