Multihull Solutions has joined forces with The Boat Works to launch a ground-breaking Out-of-Water Boat Show that permanently showcases a huge range of premium pre-owned multihulls.
The first of its kind in the southern hemisphere, the Out-Of-Water Boat Show is located at The Boat Works entrance in the Gold Coast Marine Precinct.
Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said the initiative is a first for the industry.
“We believe this is the first Out-Of-Water boat show in the whole of Asia Pacific. It will be open everyday with a line-up of premium brokerage multihulls on display with brands including brands Schionning, Catana, Grainger, Fountaine Pajot, Leopard, Lagoon, Seawind and more,” said Mark.
“There is a very select range on display with all boats required to meet a certain criteria. They must be reputable designs, in excellent condition and realistically priced,” he said.
This new style of brokerage is set to make the sales process a lot simpler for both buyers and sellers.
Surveyors can come and go as required, effectively expediting the sales process, and the seller enjoys peace of mind knowing that wherever they are in the world, their boat is out of the water and on display in a safe and secure location that costs less than half a traditional marina berth. A weekly cleaning service is also available for all boats on display, and owners will also have convenient access to full shipyard facilities for lifting and trade work as required, including antifouling, painting, engineering, electrical, shipwrights, detailers, marine supplies and more.
However, the greatest advantage of this new concept is its ability to provide the buyer with a more comprehensive experience and understanding of each different design and its features.
“Researching which multihull is most suitable can be a laborious and time-consuming venture for buyers,” said Mark.
“Rather than driving long distances to view boats in different marinas or boatyards, this Out-Of-Water brokerage centre gives people the opportunity to do all their research in the one location. They can come to understand and compare the difference between multihull designs and establish which vessel best suits their individual needs,” he said.
“The Out-of-Water Brokerage allows potential buyers to inspect the entire vessel from hull to interior, giving them full information and helping inform their sales decision.”
