The Sanya 57’s first Australian owner has exciting plans for his spectacular new cruising catamaran. Terry Howe from Dampier in Western Australia has just taken delivery of his Sanya 57 after purchasing in March, and has named it Howe’s Adventures, based on the family’s upcoming travels.
Terry, a miner and his real estate wife and their children will set off on a remarkable adventure around the world, recording the tales of their cruising life via video.
Terry picked up the Sanya 57 from the La Rochelle factory and will sail down the Med with friends before being joined by his family in Malta, where they will sail in company with friend, Stefano, who owns a Fountaine Pajot Salina 48. The children will be home schooled aboard the catamaran while Terry looks forward to clocking up dives in some of the world’s most beautiful spots.
Terry said the Sanya 57 was the ideal catamaran for their adventures as it offered the best compromise of comfort on board and volume to easily accommodate family and friends.
